Squier brings the return of a long-vanished Fender—the Vintage Modified Bass VI six-string bass. The original '61-'75 provided distinctive low end for everyone from The Beatles to The Cure. The Vintage Modified Bass VI delivers vintage-style look and tone, adding three custom Jaguar single-coil pickups with "claw" shielding rings and a comfortable, easy-playing modern neck.

This instrument features a modern neck designed for comfort and performance, with a contemporary "C"-shaped profile (the shape of the neck in cross section) and a smooth back finish—ideal for those who play with the thumb on the back or side of the neck.

STYLISH WHITE PEARLOID BLOCK INLAYS
Sophisticated white pearloid block inlays add a touch of class to this model, making it easier to navigate the fingerboard.

FOUR TWO-POSITION SLIDER SWITCHES
The Vintage Modified Bass VI bears four two-position slider switches—an on/off switch for each pickup and one bass cut "strangle" tone circuit switch—for a wealth of tonal variations.
