They took the 105 and 85 gauges from Dual Dynamic Hybrid Nickel Wound Bass Strings, which feature a nickel outer layer and an inner steel layer for tight definition across the lower register. To keep the higher register thick and round, they used the 65 and 45 strings from Standard Nickel Wound Bass line.
