The Fender Smolder Acoustic Overdrive is an all-analog overdrive pedal specifically designed for acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars. It adds natural, expressive overdrive while helping to control the bright character of piezo pickups and minimize the feedback issues often associated with adding distortion to acoustic instruments.

The dedicated Pickup Compensation control helps smooth out excessive high frequencies from piezo pickups, while the Drive control determines the amount of overdrive. A 3-band EQ and Filter provide extensive tone-shaping options, while the built-in cabinet simulation adds a more amp-like character when connected to a full-range acoustic amplifier, PA system or recording setup.

Designed by Fender's in-house engineering team, the Smolder features a completely original Fender circuit. Its lightweight and durable anodized aluminum chassis is built for stage use, while the classic Fender Amp Jewel LED and switchable LED-backlit controls provide excellent visibility in low-light conditions.
