The FENDER PUGILIST V2 is a versatile distortion pedal that combines two independent distortion sections in one housing, offering a wide range of powerful, saturated guitar tones. Each distortion engine can be used independently, allowing you to quickly switch between two different sonic characters.

Each section has its own footswitch and separate Gain, Tone and Level controls, so you can fine-tune both sounds to your amp, guitar and playing style. Engine A is geared towards a brighter, more treble-rich overdrive or distortion that is great for punchy lead tones, while Engine B provides a thicker, more powerful and heavier distortion for expressive rhythmic and modern rock sounds.

A special feature of the Pugilist V2 pedal is the Path switch, which allows you to choose between three different signal paths. It allows you to determine how the two distortion sections connect and influence each other. When processing signals sequentially, the distortion stages push each other into even richer harmonic saturation, allowing the creation of very different and distinct sounds.
