The SM48 unidirectional dynamic microphone is a great performance microphone. It maintains a true cardioid pattern throughout its frequency range, ensuring high gain before feedback and rejection of off-axis sound. Cardioid pickup pattern reject off-axis sound and provides superior gain before feedback. Microphone features a shock mounted cartridge, a steel mesh grille, and an integral “pop” filter that reduces explosive breath sounds and wind noise. 

Its been designed as a vocal mic that a budget conscious singer could use for lead or backup vocals on stage. Other applications could include speeches, pub quizzes and karaoke.

The SM48 has a cardioid pickup pattern which provides superior gain before feedback.
