Maxton M1 double bass is made of spruce and maple laminated wood. The back of the bass is rounded, as in the violin, and has a so-called violin back. The tuners are metallic and allow precise tuning, and they hold this tune very well. The tailpiece and fingerboard of this double bass is ebony. The double bass was installed by Mr. Šinko and includes all components. It features La Belline Oberkrain strings, also developed under control of Mr. Šinko. Each bass can be customized with a pickup and frets. This makes the double bass ready for use in folk music. This bass is in 1/4 size.
