HW03 is a small-bodied guitar from the Student series of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars made by Hohner. This model is equipped with non-cutaway design and dovetail neck joint construction. Besides these features noticeable at first glance, further inspection shows that this model is fully acoustic and has no pickups or preamp installed. As for the color palette, Hohner limited the choice to natural color with satin finish. Hardware installed on this model is plated in chrome. Body is made of series" standard mahogany back and side panels with spruce-made sound board. In the bridge section, a rosewood made bridge with belly contour is found. Neck is made of mahogany and it features a regular contour in the back. Rosewood-made fingerboard features 18 frets with dot inlays.
