Even though the DTX400K is the smallest kit in the new DTX400 line-up it has a very special feature: Thanks to the new kick unit KU100 the playing of the bass drum is so silent that the neighbours don’t have anything to complain about. Yamaha provides pleasure of playing drums to everyone. The DTX400 Tone Generator features 169 drum voices and 128 keyboard-voices from its pro-level siblings DTX900/700. Its 32 voices of polyphony are more than enough for clean drum grooves. The ten preset Drum Kits can be overwritten with your own sets, nine different reverb types provide the desired room sound. The aux in audio input can be used to connect a mp3 or CD player, so it's easy to play drums to your favourite songs. By using the integrated training functions you can individually enhance your drumming skills. The nine trigger inputs connect up to three tom pads, one snare pad, one kick pad, two cymbal pads, one hi-hat pad, and one hi-hat controller. Thanks to its USB-to-Host port it's easy as cake to connect the kit to a computer - so you can use the drum-kit to compose your own songs or record drum tracks using the included DAW software Cubase AI. Or play VSTi plug-ins for even more drum sounds. Special applications for iOS devices like the Apple iPad support your drum training with the DTX400.
